MANAGEMENT
coming soon…
artist-driven management
“Artists are multifaceted creatives that often have difficulty fitting into a small industry box. Welch Artists strives to empower its Roster through everything that coaching/consulting clients receive plus the advocacy and representation of management.
The Roster will scale applicably so that each individual or ensemble receives the communication, care, and collaboration that I believe artists deserve.
As a performer, I’ve had management in multiple genres. As a producer and consultant who’s worked with other managers, I’ve seen what I want to do differently. As a manager, I’ve seen what truly empowers artists.
Welch Artists will be a place where the Roster can be the most authentic, free, and supported version of themselves. Where they can find fulfillment. Where they can define their success.
I want to be who I needed in my corner when I was a performing artist.” - Daniel

Almost thirty years in the music industry (yes I’ve been working professionally cross-genre since I was 17), training in brand strategy and marketing, three degrees in vocal performance, extensive experience in media/production, insider knowledge, and a collaborative spirit.

I’m looking for artists who realize there’s no One Way of doing things, that each path is different, and that they can choose their own adventure.
Together, we can combine traditional career paths and nontraditional approaches to build a long-lasting career that’s fulfilling.

Advocacy • Communication • Accountability
Every artist gets the full extent of my experience, background, and advocacy all in the same place. No retainer. No pulling from per diems. Based on a 15% flat rate commission on all professional activities, your success is my success.
Traditional manager representation duties include (but are not limited to) industry contact, pitches, communication of your behalf, being your “guy in the room,” Roster pages, bio/résumé assistance, media package hosting, contract negotiation, career advising, and more.
Take a look at the COLLAB PAGE for a full breakdown of everything else.
…and yes, all this will be in the Welch Artists working agreement.

The hustle doesn’t stop when you have management.
Roster members will be collaborative, prepared, and driven. They will communicate efficiently and applicably, network on their own behalf, and turn management advising into actionable practices.
Signed artists will also remember they are part of a Roster, and their actions represent a group larger than themselves.

HOW ONBOARDING WORKS:
Give me your best artist pitch. Send me your materials.
Once I review them, if I think there’s a potential fit, then I’ll start asking around about you. The industry is small, and many of us know each other. I want to know as much about every artist I work with as I can.
If I like what I hear, see, and find, I’ll pitch you back based on what I think I can do for you.
Then we see where it goes!
